As the first buds of cherry blossom on the trees and the flowering of the daffs signifies that spring is almost upon us, so the annual "Why is the *insert festival race* market suspended?" numpty-threads tell us that the greatest week of all is but a few weeks hence. Fair warms the soul.

"Bumpy Threads"? Desmond Orchard don't b such a dick! I was just asking a question! Is that not what this forum is about? People sharing their opinions and information is what we all come on here for! By the way why is the Champion Chase market still suspended and the Gold Cup market is open? lol.

@Giggsy, sometimes the markets stay suspended for a couple of days or more before Betfair confirm the latest set of entries even if these have already been communicated in the press for instance the Racing post. You should see more of this across all Cheltenham AP markets as we get closer to the best week of the year.

Thanks FALLEN ANGEL! I know there are certain declaration stages as we get closer to race day but didn't know they started in January.
