Challow Hurdle

On home ground (bias), the whole family go for dinner and most likely we have the winner (8wins in the last 10 years at the table). Some superb horses have run in this race. Just a shame the prize money doesnt represent the history, sadly this will decline like the long distance hurdle has.  Need to be offering at least 50k for g2. 19k for this grade 1 Sad

Deloitte Novice Hurdle

Best novice hurdle around.

The Schweppes (betfair hurdle)

Brings together the novice and established hurdlers.

I do really enjoy the Hennessey because it is the novices v established and is a massive pointer to the season ahead.

whats yours ?

Hennessy for me too, followed by Irish, and Scottish Nationals. It might have lost it's old spark a little, but still look forward to The "Whitbread" as well.

that one at ludlow , i think it's the ' bromfield sand and gravel handicap chase ' or the 'sticky toffee pudding hurdle ' at cartmel . think a o'brien been trying to win them for years . never gets a horse good enough to enter .

Those ones at Fakenham where the clerk of the course is a member of the provisional wing of the Countryside Alliance.
