I'm going to buy tickets for a mate, but he's not certain to make it (possibly without much notice). If I buy him a get a ticket for the Friday, will I be able to buy tickets at the gate on the other three days? Thanks

My understanding is that is normally the case. Certainly you can wait until nearer the day before buying for the first 3 days.

Most definately.They are always shouting from mega phones to buy from the racecourses designated shop and not from touts (loads of them) so you always have that option also

As above, will have no problem buying from the course or from the touts for the 1st 3 days,.

There are almost as many touts as free betfair scarves these days. Easiest major sporting event around to buy tickets on the day.

I had 2 Club tickets for Gold Cup day spare last year, touts wouldn't budge past £30 the pair
