A favourite race of mine, but last year's selection ran in the Fred Winter.

But this year, I'm putting my faith in Nicholls.

Well he's three years old at the moment, so that's a start.

Axom syndicate bought Tercel at the sales recently I would be interested in seeing him in a juvenile hurdle

Still patient here.
The early gambles have all flopped, except one.

Nicholls has an interesting looking entry in the Juvenile Hurdle at Sandown on Sat, Bouvreuil has already had 7 races over hurdles in France, is rated 133 and also holds an entry in the Handicap Hurdle on the same card - and has the same sire as Bristol de Mai.Perhaps more the profile for potential Fred Winter candidate as opposed to Triumph admittedly.

John Ferguson has a couple of likely suspects entered in the Juvenile Hurdle too!

Chartbreaker I assume you are talking about the Paul Nichols juvenile which I have highlighted for the Triumph Hdr as I had word from the stable that Chartbreaker, San Bendeto and Old Guard were his best 3yo's and with the first two disappointing  and falling short of potential, it does not look good for the former as it looks a vintage crop  this year.

when is this Chartbreaker going to run? he has been entered in the Triumph today but will need to be better than their Lac Leman that ran at Taunton this week?
Doesnt look like Nicholls has a Triumph horse this year, unless Chartbreaker is waiting for the Adonis ...

It's gotta be the Adonis.  PN won that with Zarkandar on his debut....

I'm interested in san benedeto for the fred winter but with Nicholls recent record in this will have to back his others if he has a few chunky prices in.

Bivouac was impressive for me when beating it and there's no way that ones next run was true when Fehily on. It makes sense now though as bivouac has dropped from 147 to 139 and sneaks in this. I'd be all over him but don't think this race is one for big weights when there is always unexposed classy types and the majority of ratings from recent years placings have been in and around the 130. If Henderson has blagged a 7lbs drop for his then san ben will be assessed on the back of it and so should be given a lenient rating to see him creep right in at the bottom. He looked good for a long way and was meeting biv on debut who had a run under his belt this season.

Henderson was always going to have a good one in this seeing as he's had 4 or 5 in the top band of betting for the triumph at one point or another this season.
