Hargam (FR)
3yo Sinndar (IRE) – Horasana (FR) Already favourite for The Triumph Hurdle this could be a horse heading to the very top, Bred by The Aga Khan at Haras De Bonneval in France he had 3 runs for Alain de Royer- Dupre on the flat with his first start a fair effort to be beaten ½ a length by Teletext who has since been placed 3 times at Group level with The Grand Prix Du Paris one of those which is high class form, Won his next start at Longchamp beating Guardini who picked up a Group 3 since, Fourth in a Listed race at Maisons-Laffitte on his final French start he changed hands for a undisclosed sum with Anthony Bromley purchasing for JP McManus. Reported to have been at Martinstown Stud during the summer after being gelded, He has been given plenty of time to recover & grow into himself, Nicky Henderson has been given the job of guiding him through the season, Hopefully he can prove himself to be a top class prospect. |

Thx all, put him in a few competitions now he's trained in this country.

Watch and look tomorrow!

Already backed for Triumph. Hope he goes well here. I'd be happy enough if he was 2nd to the fav on this ground.
By:
Very happy with that run.
By:
Barry didn't look too happy with himself coming in, Plenty more to come from the runner up.
By:
Good first run. I thought Johnson was an ape on the winner, thrashing it up the hill. The battle was lost but the war will be won imo.
By:
Good first run,def one for the notebook.
By:
Surely there must be a little disappointment he never managed to win after trading at 1.04 in-running? A promising debut for sure but expected him to win given he was last off bridle and took the lead up the home straight.
By:
I'd be a little concerned about how little it found when asked. Winner has a very good attitude though.
By:
Given the ground conditions and the fact that Barry wasn't too hard on him i thought he ran a cracker. Plus the winner was match fit. Hopefully we'll get to see him run again in one of the Cheltenham trials with decent ground conditions.
By:
He won't beat the winner the next time they meet, was only just doing enough and soon stuck his neck out to win easy
By:
Have no doubt Hargam would reverse form on good ground and when he's fully race fit and more experienced.
By:
anyone know whats happening with the other henderson horse for triumph hurdle TOP NOTCH
By:
Hargam runs this Saturday with AP on, could be a slog
By:
Hopefully wins Saturday, would prefer Barry on myself.
By:
looking like being good ground bluebirdfan - so not sure what kind of slog your expecting?
By:
At present going at Cheltenham is good.
By:
Bit of rain due later today and overnight but will be surprised if it is any slower than 'good to soft' come Saturday and might even be unchanged.
By:
Impressed with his performance yesterday, may not have beaten much but the time was decent given he was just pushed out.Looks to have matured with each run, settled better than previous runs and I liked how he really stuck his head out when beating Karezak at cheltenham the time before.
NJH has some exciting talent for this race, this horse must enter calculations. |
By:
^^^ spot on, like the improvement angle, I think he will place in Triumph.
By:
Improving for every run it seems,, and certainly looks better on decent ground.
Had to take advantage of the 10's that lads are still going. Big player for me,and a nice price imo. |
By:
Agree Budd gone in again at 10/1 e/w,dont think price will last much longer too big imo.
By:
Stand by for a price crash - the momentum is building for this good thing. P&C making the market but the decent prices are going to go fast. If you like him but think you've missed the value - get on now - before it goes shorter still. The better ground makes the difference. Will beat P&C and be the easiest winner of the week.

By:
Really?
By:
More often than not when people put up posts like that it means one thing only...defeat..

By:
10/1 long gone. Best price 7 last time I looked.could still look a good price on the day, gonna be shorter than that I would think.
By:
Now McCoy has announced his retirment there will lots of talk about his rides. Could be a 4/1 chance by Friday if conditions suit.
By:
Think Dicosimo been p/wised in Triumph, had saver on this few days ago as back up to 20/1 Hargam bet.
Hargam i agree wont be close to 7s come the day. |
By:
PW went with Petite Parisienne, Discosimo is going to Ruby's Triumph ride (Unofficially) hence it's been backed by a few people recently.
By:
Hope so Gut had saver on him at 26 on here, back up to Hargam.
By:
Stevo! Why would you need a back up for Hargam?
By:
Lol cause he not at post yet Delsie, hope you are correct.
By:
We'll be talking about Hargam as a Champion Hurdle horse this time next year, Stevo. We'll be saying - remember the way he cruised past Peace & Co in last year's Triunph. Remember that handstand AP was doing on the run in etc etc
