Obviously gutting for connections but also for fans. The British 2m hurdle races this year will be piss poor in the lead up to cheltenham unless mullins sends over some good ones. Otherwise, TNO will just hack up in races such as the Xmas Hurdle, international hurdle etc. Maybe even the fighting fifth.

Yeah was just looking at that lack of depth in the British trained 2m hurdle ranks. Next shortest in the Champion Hurdle betting after TNO is Irving at 25/1, he starts off in the Elite at Wincanton next month.

To be fair we could have a great little Christmas Hurdle between them as Irving loved Kempton and Nicholls seemed genuinely devastated by the Supreme run, they expect so much of him.

Yeah, possibly. Irving did look good at Kempton and you'd have to say that's his track. He's still got a hell of a lot to find to get near TNO there though
