The wait is over.

Yes we'll be there. Looks a tricky card though.

There both days, the journey from Cumbria is the only bad part

Just watched the other half pack the cases going through her check list!

Get to Cheltenham tomorrow arriving (if the trains are on time) at 3pm, walk to Montpellier wine bar for a couple then round the corner to the hotel and while she unpacks I will go to John Gordon's for a tipple, then we meet up for a few more followed by a balti at shezan before falling into bed, what a hard lifeGrin.

The rest of the weekend follows the same sort of plan and back home Sunday.

Good luck to all those fortunate enough to be at Chelters both days...me I'm working but Ayr on the 1st and the long wait to visit the mecca of us jump fanatics in March.

A couple of fancies for me:

2.40 - Un Ace
3.15 - On the Bridge

Jammy so-and-so's that are there this weekend. Dunno why (probably the fact the Flat is ending with a whimper rather than a bang) but the Jumps season proper can't come soon enough for me this year.

Supreme Present
Thomas Crapper
Clara Mcloud

Will be watching Ballybolley (impressed me last season and stiffer track should suit but I firmly believe this one needs 2m4f and had him down as a potential Neptune animal). Also Vibrato Valtat (talented but dodgy and wouldn't want to be taking 9/2 about him).

Enjoy !

Something special about seeing the first meet on the hallowed ground... wish I was there Sad

Only two for me today Blaklion in the 2.05 and Highland Retreat in the 3.50.

Will also be watching Vibrato Valtat with interest. He cost me a few quid last season, and couldnt back him at such a short price in such a competitive heat, but he is potentially decent imo.
