Solwhit is edging closer towards a welcome return to the track after injury had forced him on to the sidelines since June last year.
The deeply talented but fragile 10-year-old was unable to defend his Ladbrokes World Hurdle title at Cheltenham in March after he suffered a problem with a fetlock.
But trainer Charles Byrnes has patiently nursed the eight-times Grade One scorer back to fitness, with the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse on November 30 considered for a potential comeback.
The County Limerick handler said: "We have to treat him carefully, obviously, but he's going the right way and we are happy with him at this stage.
"He's in great old order and will hopefully be ready to run in around six weeks.
"I'm not too sure where we go first, but he'll probably have an entry in the Hatton's Grace."
