Ptit Zig, is the first one that springs to mind, crying out for a fence and could be a genuine Arkle contender.

Yeah he has a clutch of 5yo's from last season Triumph batch that could be quite decent. Irish Saint, Far West. Caid Du Berlais has already won his novice so won't be won.

Southfield Theatre would be high on my list.
Port Melon maybe but he might not be any good and Lac Fontana would be interesting over the shorter trips. |

Saphire De Reu is an obvious one too actually. He appears to have a few. I just wondered where the strength in depth was.

I wondered about Lac Fontana too, IS. My worry is that he doesn't seem to treat the hurdles with much respect, although those types often improve for a fence. But he also seems to hit a flat spot in his races and is on/off the steel. You don't get away with that so much in a 2m chase as it all might happen a bit quick for him and I'm not convinced of his stamina either, despite Saturdays win. He could end up tripless over fences. Clearly has an engine though.

Saphir du Rheu & Ptit Zig will both be very interesting over fences

Black river might be interesting if they can sort him out and start again over fences again with him....beating vautour once upon a time isn't bad form

Vivaldi Collanges could turn into a decent staying chaser next season.
