Performance - Quevega. Seeing history, forget the competition, great moment.

Financial Result - Vatour.

Nearest Miss - Katgary. Never see 16s again.

Next Nearest Miss - Briar's Hill - hours trading markets for a lovely green gone in the brush of a twig.

Biggest Disappointment - Annie Power. Ran a great race, but these types always finish second. It's the rules.

Patience Award - David Pipe for Ballnagoury Love

Biggest Chancer Award - the "tipster" who lodged in the same accomodation as us, doesn't read form and admitted he had a fiver on Molzotov when gambled from 20a to 10s, "cos there might be something in it." FFS.

Smelliest Farts and Loudest Snores - "east ayrshire".

Slowest to the Bar 2015 Award - The Scobster.

Roll on 2015.

Remember, I can post a link to evidence of extreme snoring ;-)

Anyways...........highlights.

Sire De Grugy confirming its solid form credentials despite the chatter of the naysayers putting doubt in our minds.

Dynaste also confirming solid form picks MUST be a staple of your Cheltenham portfolio.

Several other smaller punts guided by JOCI's stats/trends as a starting point, thanks again.

Following Johnn's good advice and laying Annie Power for stake back despite being tempted by greed ;-).

Lowlights

Rubbish Wi Fi

Champagne Fever beat a snoater.

Annie Power failing to give us a spectacular festival instead of a very good one.

Conclusion, Bishops Cleeve still the best place to stay, home with ok profit, all is well.

I was in Cleeve too....evenings in the Royal Oak (Wednesday in the Taj Mahal).

Highlight....Quevega winning again, when looking unlikely for most of the race.

Lowlight....Many Clouds being brought down by Don Cossack (wiping out both my runners). Maybe also waiting ages for that daft horse in the fnal race to stop re-creating the cross country race, only to see my potentially big winner Passage Vendome fall at the first!

Financially....Silver Concorde winning the Bumper.

Pleasant surprise.....shouting on Flaxen Flare to win, temporarily gutted as his challenge petered out, only for my mate to shout that Lac Fontana (my other bet) had crept up on the rail to win!

Moments of satisfaction....seeing the trends validated by having Irving and Annie Power lowly rated.

I had possibly the finest ever lamb karahi in the Taj Mahal on Friday night.

I had an extremely fiery chicken madras on Wednesday...real mouth burner. Good job I never went for the vindaloo!

I forgot to mention:

Finest Moment of Synchronicity: In the Apple Tree Thursday night, Ruby is being interviewed on RUK on the big screen where we are sitting, the singer is playing his piano and singing "Ruby,Ruby,Ruby", the door opens and in walks....Willie Mullins and Ruby.

We were in Royal Oak on Friday, we were the devilishly handsome troupe with £50 notes coming out our ears :-)

Farting continuously.

We were on the way home by then, having feasted on the largest fish and chips in living memory from the place a few stops down from the Taj Mahal.
