I've had festivals like that and come out up overall. I've had festivals (2013) where I had a great three days, then upped all my steaks and didnt get a winner or a place on the Friday and ended up down.
Don't panic, dont change your steaks (maybe a bit down if anything) and trust your instincts. Whatever you do, don't chase. |

Failing that, a £5 treble on Juventus, Benfica and Plzen should put a £100 back into the coffers for tomorrow

try a placepot, massive pools and dont need winners.

Good start, Juve + Plzen winning in first 5 minutes

If you're out of form stop betting. Give it up a few weeks/months, come back small at first and build up when confident.
When you're winning, bet big. When you're losing, stop. |

Dunno what advice to give, because what someone is losing in relation to what they're worth is a completely different thing. Someone 200 quid down could be losing more in comparison to someone who is 5 grand down.

Benfica 1 up now

I don't know your situation is trots but if you can't afford to lose anymore then don't bet.
Next thing is to forget all about the last 3 days and try to focus on what look like the best bets tomorrow, don't think about how much you're down. Personally I would be looking at trying to find a big priced winner rather than lumping on a shorty. Anyhow it's up to you, main thing is to try and enjoy the racing. Good luck and let us know how you got on. |

Get to a GA meeting quick!

Whatever you do, DON'T LOSE THE HEAD.
Whether it wins or loses relying on a novice hurdler to rescue your week is straight up, not a good idea |
By:
An experienced, reliable course specialist, better priced, Champion would be a much safer option only IF you feel you must

After tomorrow there will always be another day for you until there isn't. Do what makes you happy and if you really, really must put your knackers on the line I'd do it on something which will fight tooth and nail.

give yourself an achievable goal - hail marys are probably not the answer.

Sounds like i've had a similar week to the op! Not one winner yet but im not really out of form as ive had 8 2nd's. Luckily my gambling money is loseable money so even if i dont have another winner its not like im down the foodbank until payday. I have a betting bank of £2000 for the week and after 3 days am £800 down so could be worst. Was in a similar position last year (only winner so far was sprinter) but 3 winners on the final day (ted veale, Bobs worth & salsify) along with long run & kid cassidy getting placed actually turned my week into profit. My only advice is to keep to the same stakes and same strategy. Sooner or later your luck will change just like im hoping mine will today. I've not made a loss at the festival since 2005 so maybe its just my turn for a stinker. Good luck for whatever you have today. If you want to make some money laying my bets today are Royal Irish Hussar, Master Of The Game/CAsh & Go, Briar Hill, Bobs Worth, OScar Delta, OpenDay/Full Shift, Ned Buntline/Anquetta.
For future festivals just save up a betting bank in advance which wont put you in trouble even if you lose every race and lose the pot. |

Down after two days. A nose in front after three.
Keep the faith; keep your nerve. Look at the front of the market in conditions races, and at the middle of the market in handicaps (and at the jockeys in amateur races). And always, always, save your bus fare home. |

certainly keep your nerve O.P...never easy when your chasing loses and today looks brutal no matter how you cut it...i'm not a fan of briar hill and if he wins will be a shocker here...hard to offer advice on a day like this but what i would say is couple your bets if you fancy a few and hope to gain some confidence back just from a winner...tammys hill i liked today but is very weak in the betting, so probably going to be a tricky day
just remember though - uttoxeter tomorrow |
