Perhaps that realisation was uppermost in his mind sintonian. We all had an opinion and Willie had his and as he's the trainer the buck stops with him. I'm sure if he could go back to the start of the season things would be very different.

I think she just got beat by what could be a very very good horse.

Oh yeah she has ran into a bit of a monster Brandy. More of That was/is unbeaten himself. But having looked how Hurricane Fly ran and the fact she won at 2miles previously ...  Only my opnion anyway. Winner is a possible Gold Cup winner himself so fair's fair.

The owner is a Barclays banker so hopefully he had his full bank on.

Hfly beat......AP beat......UDS stayed at home!!

So hes managed to lose the Arkle, RSA, WH, CH and the JLT.

Highly probable had he entered more sensibly things could have been a lot different, yeh I know....hindsight and all that, but had he done the following what would he have won??

Felix...Arkle
Ballycasey...JLT
UDS and AP....CH

CF only just got done so maybe he was in right race, but he would have had his chances in the other 2 nov chases imo.

Pigs ear of it all imo, and owners should be questioning him I would think.

For as much as CF went very close to winning, all season long he has never looked a 2 miler. And I remember saying on the RSA thread back in Dec/Jan Ballycasey should have been in the JLT. Hey ho.
