10/1 doesn't look too shabby. I know this may seem an obvious selection, but at the end of the day he's a fair old price. If they didn't think he could put up a good run, he would have been kept aside.

No Jasey. I see it as a plus. If they didn't think either had a shout, they would have kept MOT aside for Ascot. AFC prefers better ground, and he stays. Given that they ran two in the CH, then i don't see why it would be a concern. The biggest problem is the favourite.

2 ways to look at it. throwing a horse in at the deep end over 3 miles for the first time, how do you perceive it ? Is it a risk in your opinion, or a plus they would put him in there ? Ifthey already have a 3 mile horse, why would they risk running another runner in these sort of circumstances. I think he must be pleasing them, and the evidence suggests he's improving rapidly. It's no ordinary three miles, but you never know. I've backed a few fallers this week, so i'll just eb pleased if he stays up.
