Interesting though just crossed my mind, would anyone on here go as far as to say if red sherlock was trained in ire by mullins and faugheen was with pipe the market would be reversed or is it not as simple as that?

it does raise the point about the Mullins/Walsh/Ricci machine which could go on now to dominate racing for the next few years. Red Sherlock was one of the best english hopes and he was soundly put away.

I would be interested to know whether this is just cycle or whether the brits are going to really struggle to compete with this new machine.
