Anyone consider this a dark horse for the world?
I know connections have stated more effective on soft ground but will go on good and a thorough stayer who will relish the trip and the chelt hill......With the lingering doubts about Big Bucks retaining his old spark and Annie Power getting the trip i think this race could be open for a winner outside those two. Rule the World is among the second tier of contenders at around the 10/1 mark and will be primed by Morris for the day, but if you go back to Leopardstown at Christmas, Mala Beach travelled all over RTW that day before it looked like , to my eyes, he blew up a bit for whatever reason. Next time out he won very easily at Gowran and the third horse jetson (beaten 19l by mala baeach) that day went on to win a competitive handicap off 136 and is among the market leaders for the pertemps off a mark of 144. Mala Beach is still unexposed and just a six year old who peaked in the spring last year and should have plenty improvement to come this season and next.

I've backed this horse antepost with NRNB, but with the prices that have been traded on here, I had it down as a non runner. Seems overpriced to me if they are running.

yeah, Elliot has said if ground was on easy side he'd run but not if quicker. I suppose it depends on whether they do the bit of watering. If he did line up what price do you think he'd be. Personally my gut feeling is that he'll run, this was the plan all season and Elliot said he thinks there are niggly doubts about all the market leaders

With the amount of the market that the big two are taking up, I can't see his price falling much. I'd imagine you'll be able to get 33/1 on the day if he's declared a runner.

Surely wouldn't be 33/1 on the day if Rule the World was a single figure price?

I agree that their prices should be closer, but there are a few reasons why they're not. RTW had an injury at the end of last season and popular opinion seems to suggest that he was not fully fit for his first few runs of the season. Added to that there's the fact that he ran well at the Festival last year. Also he was tipped up by pricewise, so is trading shorter than he should be imo.
