To me this is the bet of the meeting.

Third Intention is just below top class in novice company having been contesting grade 1's/2's for the lat two seasons.

First time in handicap company and a mark of 143 seems reasonable.

Good ground will be a positive. This could be a plot horse.....

Trouble is, how do you get the beast to win? I have seen it mugged at least 5 times when a win seemed likely. Cruises, jumps, empties like a Rolls Royce with a ruptured petrol tank.

funny - call it day and so true...tricky race this and think the weights will go up 6 so will put him on 11 stone+

hard race the plate but can see him travelling well and he isn't without a chance...will he put it all in at the finish? that is another matter

And mine too , last 3 races over just too far , going left handed and ground gives him a major chance , was also entered in 3 miler as smokescreen .

Professional loser. The kind of horse the bookmakers love to see winning.

I think he's a great bet at 20/1

Definitely a decent back to lay in running.

Certainly makes the short list, travels well, wind op at the start of this season and has been running over the wrong distance.

I was also hoping they would run Annacotty over 2 and half.

Anacotty is too exposed for me. I like something down in handicaps or something running over wrong distance that will improve for upping in trip and better ground.

Giorgio Quercius is my other Plate selection. I'll tell you now before it's up on my site. Breathing op in summer if memory serves me correctly.

I've Third Intention last week at 20's as i think he's well handicapped and has course form. Good chance.

Ta. Went out after the World Hurdle so didn't see the race. Unlucky for backers unless they got 5places.

Grand run for the money, paid 5 places at lads. Shame he was a bit too handy and free early on.
