Just got home. Pretty poor I thought. Thoughts obviously with AP who had to dash off early to get back to London to be with his poorly lad.
Didn't learn anything of any real value. An immense amount of fence sitting and a lack of any real charisma on the panel. |

There was some real cr@p talked.
Cunningham on Ballycasey to the question will the fall in training make a difference: "The precedent is there that Rule Supreme fell in training before he won so it won't make a difference." I nearly gagged when he said that, it's a different fall from a different horse FFS  |

I enjoyed Cheltenham preview glossy but noisy at back with boozers.
I know what you mean about charisma on the panel always an issue that one, need a Francombe or a Big Mac |

I was sat up in the seats upstairs howdi and it was fine there.
Was just a bit disappointed with the level of analysis when compared with previous years. The guy from Ladcrooks offered absolutely nothing and was a waste of a seat. The information by the Irish racing girl (Jessica Lamb?) was on a very basic level. Henderson was doing his best to not give anything away but him mentioning that he'd been tipping Our Conor to anyone who'd listen must be a worry for MTOY backers (or is it the opposite!?). Just struggle to see how anyone with more than a passing interest would have learned anything. |
