usually important to have had a run in the same calendar year but with the continuing (frustrating as a horseracing fanatic) trend of light campaigns, the horrible ground this year with the added complexity of a likely significant going change for the festival itself, perhaps long absences will prove successful - personally I think I'll stick with the stats
