the RP book is a really good read also, full of (hopefully) usefull info

Always a low come Fruday evening but then I think that we've still got Fairyhouse, Aintree and Punchestown to come!

It's always a bit sad standing there as the runners come out for the Grand Annual knowing that this is the last for a year...

there is nothing remotely comparable to cheltenham in the flat calendar.

after aintree and punchestown that will be it for me until the paddy power meeting.

i live close to newmarket but never go there, watching the runners start near cambridge the run in a straight line for a couple of minutes is boring, wait 30 minutes and then other horses do exactly the same, boring.

certainly not on the wind up bonnie, as prefer flat racing...still like the jumps and cheltenham but is harder for me punting wise

give me royal ascot any day of the week...aintree my favorite jumps meeting tbh more on the punting angle, as chelt so competitive

still study my nuts off for chelt though just not the be all and end all, sorry if this surprises you

i've been once, never again - crammed full of p1ssed up posh cretins.

i enjoy a summer break from studying/gambling - have allways found jumps form easier as the good horses tend to run year after year, whereas a good flat horse will be retired early for obvious reasons.

Not suprised Harry. Some folk will be at other courses, whilst Cheltenham races are underway. The festival is not everybodys main cup of tea.

no chaps am an arm chair punter these days...lazy (getting fatter) and don't go racing much anymore, unless i get some free hospitality then prefer just to be sociable

used to go most years to ascot, mostly with my grandad who loved a tickle and he had 5 winners one year we went, the year celeric won for pat in the gold cup...he was cockahoot a great day...one to cherish between me and him

then mostly on my own while learning (only on the tuesday/wednesday best days by far) but haven't been since i met a beautiful women at the track and worked the angle, by the time it took me to go to the bar (20 mins) she had fecked off...deplorable and still makes me sick now...she had a lovely long white lace dress, that was see through...a good looking brunette and i still have filthy thoughts now, still couldn't find her when i returned and haven't been back since, she was way out of my league but was having a good day that day so could of accommodated her...not sure she would of liked the fiesta i was driving at the time however...

probably 10 years now though, but when the weather is nice ascot is a good day out, lovely women and great racing

haven't been to chelteham since moscow last won, just to cold for me but still good racing but prefer to just play on the machine

just prefer flat racing from a punting point of view but see your point on the ascot toff thing but who cares just ignore them like you should most of the piss heads at chelt
