I think I'm on my own on this one but I think At Fisher's Cross is some animal and whilst it isn't a banker by any means it will be my biggest bet of the festival.

Your defo not on your own with that selection. Although i feel and have done since October that a rag wins this race this year, At Fishers Cross would certainly not surprise me if he won it showing improved form from this seasons form as not sure he would have to find a great deal on last seasons to figure given AP is poss a bridle horse and a 2.5 miler (the next Oscar Whisky is not out of the question) and Big Bucks for all i hate to say it and wish it wasn't or rather hope it isn't the case is 11 year old now and looks like his best days could be behind him!

No worries Aidan. If we all agreed it would be no fun. In my (our?) defence I'd invite you to rewatch the last few yards of the Albert Bartlett and the Gold Cup from last year. The way I see it is this: Sir Des Champs and Bob's Worth were so f*cked after 3 and a half miles on that going they walked over the line. AFC powered over the line in the AB and looked like it could have gone round again. Every horse in both races was affected and bottomed by a Championship race in those conditions, none of them were the same horses the first few times out this year, and some haven't made it back to that level at all.
AFC showed in the Cleeve that he his well on the way back to his best and the "once over" at JP's he's had since the Cleeve will put him bang on in my eyes. The last horse to receive the JP "once over" as Binocular before it scooted up in the Champion. In terms of its market rivals I'm dead against Big Buck's and whilst I appreciate Annie Power could be anything its price means that other horses are available at decent prices. I cant have AFC out of the first three, and for me it has every chance of winning this.
