Ca gte over how many people are surprised by this personally

His hcap mark is ridiculous at 146 - off that mark he would have to run to 155+ to win the GA its fair to say which would nt have him far off placin in an Arkle (if the mark is correct) imvho

Tony Martin telling the truth. Is that not surprise enough?

It was the only real option in the end, which is a shame, as I can't see him placing.

Ridiculous decision. How many panels has Martin been on and how many times has he said the horse was not a runner in the Grand Annual?

Probably the best backed horse for a handicap at the Festival and another massive kick in the teeth for ante-post punters.

Horse had an excellent chance in the Grand Annual, no chance whatsoever in the Arkle. Only a complete clown would exchange a 6/1 chance for a 25/1.

^^^^^ What he said x 10. In addition there has to be a good chance the ground will get better throughout the week whichI would have thought would suit TV even more.

Crossed my mind he might Sawyer. Especially if he doesn't complete the Arkle or ends up out the back early on.

Will be unplaced on the Tuesday on the official "good to soft, soft in places" and if there's no rain it will go off fav on the Friday on "good, good to soft in places"

I had it marked down as a GA plot (along with many others) and I can only hope that Martin is simply deflecting attention away from the Friday - well fingers crossed anyway.
