Interesting this horse is creeping his way up the market for the Bumper. He could well prove well named come the last race on the Wednesday.
Looking at his form at a glance, he's won his two Bumpers doing handstands both last summer at Downpatrick and Galway. The third and fourth from Downpatrick went on to win Bumpers of their own. At Galway he gave the field weight and still beat them as he liked. The second that day went on to finish close up to Shaneshill and using that line of form as a guide would give this fellow every chance.
I presume he's an intended runner although I'm not sure how the field gets selected for the Bumper or if there's a danger he might not get in?
If someone like Carberry, Condon or Russell gets booked for this, I think we'll see him shorten further.
