Does anyone have strong views on which horses will definitely switch from the Ryan Air to the Champion Chase and which will now definitely run in the Ryan Air? I had a couple I fancied but I haven't read enough on running plans.
Please not Champion Chase all my eggs are in the Ryanair basket I managed to dodge the Gold Cup bullet and managed to get 20/1 Al Ferof Ryanair just before Christmas.

Menorah in (ground permitting) and Wishful Thinking more likely to run Byrne Group H'Cap according to Philip Hobbs in the RP Weekender today. Wishful Thinking least likely to appear in the Ryanair as both horses are in the same ownership (also has Champion Chase entry)

I've backed Menorah eachway at 16/1 and a win bet on Dynaste at 11/2. Not particular fan of yard in Grade 1 chases or the horse but his run at Haydock was very good and I just can't have First Lieutenant in this race, he should be in GC, nor can I have Al Ferof after his two slow runs over 3 miles this year. His Ascot win at the time beating French Opera looked good but im not sure he the horse he was.

Menorah seems to have become a little quirky over fences. He got himself tailed off very early on in last year's Ryanair, but he is clearly very talented on his day. 16/1 seems a very fair price for him on his best form in the hope that he shows it.

I rewatched Benefficient's Jewson win last night. I liked they way he got up the hill, but I thought it was a fantastic ride by Cooper. It's a shame that he won't have him on board when it comes to the Ryanair. His one win this season has been the one time he has ridden him. Who will ride him? McCoy?

Martin said on Thursday in preview on Thurs that Cooper would have the choice but naturally he'll be on a gigginstown runner, so ruby after that then either Davy or Carberry, has no fears in stepping him up next year, Hennessy a possibilty

Just looking back at Al Ferof's last run .. he was beat 25 lengths. Now, prep or not, that's quite dismal. His previous run over 3 miles he was beat 14 lengths and that was a Grade 1. Regressing or not?

Radjhani Express has some serious improvement to make to get into contention, but his form in the Paddy Power reads well, and who knows how much he has improved seeing as he's only had that one run this year because of the bad ground. Won at the Festival last year very impressively and can see him being on the premises this time round. I've also taken some of the 33s that was available on Rathlin. My idea of the winner is Benefficient, but I hope one of these two can run close.
