The GC has been the aim all year and can't see them changing now although I think he'd win.

I heard judorick is right behind the idea.
|
|
By:
agree about training been saying same on twitter.
|

With only two weeks to go, I think if he were mine I'd be sticking with the Gold Cup.
Very disappointed that we won't be seeing Sprinter A sensible decision by his connections from the sound of it. |

Howdi, if you set up an ePetition and it gets 100,000 signatures they HAVE to debate it in Parliament.
If you get the ball rolling, we may get to hear what Cameron and Milliband think Tizzard should do in the House of Commons ![]() |

I have never been a believer of training horses differently regarding distance.
It's all about getting the horse fit and primed for the big day. I believe 2 miles is no longer Cue Cards best trip. The gold cup is the right race. |

"If you get the ball rolling, we may get to hear what Cameron and Milliband think Tizzard should do in the House of Commons"
Lol! That would be brilliant! |
|
By:
Do you think a trainer sends out the first lot of 2 milers only, sends them up the gallop twice at a fast pace. Then its the turn of 2 and half milers. He sends them up the gallops but this time at a slightly slower pace. Then the 3 milers are sent out..........,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Its times like this you realise just why my old pal wellchief has been voted formulite of the year fore the past 5 years.

Me too. He's been harping on for the past couple of years that this horse has no chance of staying the GC trip... |
|
By:
would be sheer cowardice, sure they won't even consider it, would be a laughing stock imo
switch to Ryan Air would be bad enough but supplementing for a race after the horse you can't beat withdraws ...zero glory there |
|
By:
and frankly I would be far from certain he would win it at 2 miles, might be out speeded after all the runs at 2 miles 4+
how embarrassing would that be? |
|
By:
I agree with Judo.
|
|
By:
I agree re the "no glory". I think he could win it.
|
|
By:
Rick they won't go Champion Chase. He needs a trip now and they want the big day.
As long as its good/soft or better should take the beating. |
|
By:
I still hope he goes for a repeat in the Ryanair. I would like to see some better stable form though.

|
By:
Not quite Howdi.
He is the class horse in the race and has a great chance IMO. |
|
By:
if it's good ground he will be evens in my book, only BW could beat him and that is far from certain
pretty sure he will trade odds on in running on good or just the easy side 1.13 in the King George anyway, leave you lot to it |
