Posted other day on QM thread very surprised if turns up and laid at 2.1

Am scared. Day after I but £25 even money with race bets and £25 unbeaten all season 11/10 with hills he pulls up with a heart problem.

even if the horse is fine and going well at home, you can see him not running, Henderson is a nervous wreck at the best of times and will surely err on the side of caution.
I think the writing was on the wall once they missed the Game Spirit which would have been the last chance for a decent prep run. Henderson is obviously brilliant with the horses but clearly does n't enjoy the 'p0ressure' of training such a high profile superstar. Very telling that he said they'll run both Kid Cassidy and Captain Conan whether Sprinter runs or not. I actually think Captain Conan's the most likely winner if he turns up at the top of his game. |

was contemplating laying sprinter mid week when hendo said he will give him a gallop 10 days time he was around 10/11 ,but didn't want to tie up funds! missed the boat now ! plenty of value in the race though ! and the ryanaire will have a few defect ! value in both races if ya can call it right
By:
He's roughly 10/11 to be in the top 3 on here with 2 weeks to go. Doesn't sound as if he is well at all
By:
yeah bally, took denman a while to recover and he was arguably never quite the same horse again ,how hard can you push a horse at home with these problems ,gotta be kid gloves ,if anyone can get him there its hendo but it may well be beyond him this season !
By:
Out for season I expect to be announced in next few days and back next December after 9 months rehab...Hendo knows he's the best he's ever had and the QM could cause him all sorts of problems. Too young to arse about with

Tbh I've always thought if there was any uncertainty around him this close to the Festival it surely wouldn't be worth the risk. I did see him when he paraded around Newbury though and he looked amazing. Looked like he could have had a race that day. I hope we get to see him back to his best and if that means leaving him until next season I hope that's the case.

3.05 with 9 on the pink and 11/10 to place...absolutely friendless...expect announcement in next 72 hours for me.

Agree with Masterminded re Newbury. He looked spot on and was almost tempted to get stuck in having seen him (I'm no judge by the way) in person. However, with this drift now looks a def non starter. Best get looking for the winner cos I can't have SDG at Chelt and there has to be a nice price out there.

By:
if sprinter defects the ryanaire will cut up as the cc will be tempting for a good few !
By:
Benneficient 10/1 for me if SS doesnt run..I rerouted from Ryanair he could go off fav.
By:
yeah beneficeint has course form and not a lot between him and arvika ,worth ditching a few now !
By:
Bit of money for arvika but he can't win cos he is a right tracked horse

If this keeps drifting the firms are going to suspend and wait for an announcement.

He may be over the hill but Sizing Europe EW at 25/1 NRNB will do for me. Still clear 2nd best last year and his defeat at Xmas was strange with him going off and making the running. One last Hurrah???????

Do you reckon Nicholls could be tempted to run Al Ferof @20s if SS is pulled out? He has spoken before about AF having spped for 2m and was saying he may run in CC if ground was soft.

Coming back in

Took a little bit of the 16's on Captain Conan on here, and just put a bit on Beneficient ew at 10's. Already had Arvika at 16's NRNB from a few weeks ago, so if Sprinter doesn't run, very happy with my position.
Blue all over oddschecker, so bookies getting wind of it, and looks like Sporting Bet have taken their market down. |
By:
Beneficient was NRNB btw. If Sprinter does run, I'll just lay the Captain Conan stake off on the day. Can see him being about 10's if Sprinter runs
By:
guess work at the moment I remember when Black jack ketchum went 16s on here for world hurdle and went off 11-10 on the day (some 4 days later)

got 44 for arvika and 50 odd for hinterland and 33s alderwood too!
By:
BV now suspended and 888 go 5/4 NRNB on Sprinter.
By:
in the words of kevin keagan id love it love it if sprinter went evens now
By:
Binocular also went 1000 in the run up to cheltenham 2010 after the trainer all but ruled the CH but ended up winning at 9/1 sp.

Sporting Bet have took their market down as well. SDG and Sprinter pretty much joint favs now - never thought I'd ever be typing that

play the good samaritan hendo and tell us whats going on

hendo's been at church all day, this is nothing to do with him

Henderson has had a poor season with very few runners. Hardly any out compared to previous seasons on a Saturday afternoon. Yet he will say all is fine in the yard. Honesty not his number one attribute
By:
Looks like its fecked.

All that's good about NH racing ..

not running at festival, confirmed

SUSPENDED

Remember when Kauto had his fall when schooling before the Gold Cup, and was touch and go for a bit. Not the slightest hint of a Betfair drift, with someone mopping up all the money.
Just shows the difference between the Nicholls and Henderson yards. |
