Couple of days ago Mark Howard said he had spoken to McCain and the horse was behind schedule. I took that to be pundit speak for he wouldn't be at Cheltenham.
This weeks Weekender Stable Tour - horse is apparantly working well and it's 'all systems go for the Neptune'.
Speaking to Bob Cooper yesterday 'the horse isn't going to Cheltenham'.
Can you believe a word he says?
The horse would be unbeaten but for the trainer running at a totally unsuitable track and this is now the second year running he hasn't managed to get one of his best young horses to the Festival.
