Quote from George in PW Ryanair preview today:

'He will stay two and a half miles no question about it but also has the pace for miles. A lot depends on what happens in the Champion Chase and the ground. I won't commit one way or the other yet.He was traveling too well in the novice chase last year, got hampered at the top of the hill and did n't come down it, but he was very inexperienced at that stage. He is getting the hang of things now.'

Probably does n't help much but there you go.

thankyou very much...so soft side of good which is more than probable on the wednesday..champion chase still very much an option...bizarre than he can backed at 120/1 on here

I noticed the same as you having backed the horse at 33/1 NRNB. Something fishy in the drift as the Ryanair has become a more competitive race since he won at Newbury. Nothing has really happened in respect of the Champion Chase. Straight after Newbury the trainer was pointing towards the Champion so what has changed?

Rease, do you have the quotes on Menorah?

Hobbs:

'I don't suppose Menorah will run in the Ryanair if it's really soft.I imagine Wishfull Thinking will run in the Champion Chase again if it cuts up.He might run in the Ryanair but if Menorah runs he's more likely to go for the Byrne Group Plate with top weight. They are in the same ownership.'

Cheers, glad I bet him NRNB, then. But I think they are crazy going into a handicap off 169. Has no chance whatsoever off that rating whereas he'd have a chance in the Ryanair.

Oh sorry he means Wishful Thinking running in the h'cap.

yep, I think he means that but it's a bit ambiguous, I had to read it three times!
