Clearly going straight to the Albert Bartlett. Three months off the course wouldn't be my idea of the ideal prep.

Clearly a gd ground horse...running on ground that not ideal for him...could of hampered his preperations

Oh god no!!esp the trainer. Likeable lad but his dad was an absolute master.

At this stage he should be realizing his training methods aint delivering in the way his old mans did and revert to type. Maybe too late at this stage,bigger owners passed on sadly or moved to pastures new. Probably has not the fire power of old in yard.

His winning being on decent ground it came as something of a surprise to read a quote from Pipe that he sees the horse long term as a welsh national horse.  |
