Flaxen Flare is definitely on my radar.

Two for the 0-140 race.
Pendra's last outing was a laugh, making sure he stayed under the mark after two wins.
And I can't help but think Manyriverstocross has a stonking ew chance in the race, given his previous Festival form, which isn't bad.

watched vulcanite get stopped about 5 times then jockey accepted defeat, been running over hurdles lately

Not to mention Tap Night for the Plate.
It's been the plan all year.
Not very original mind you, a blind man could see it.

Haha. I fall into the same trap every year.
Just about every handicap, I'm convinced the JP horse has been a plot.
Then I realise after the event they were not actually that good!
I suppose the likes of Creon, Wichita, Bellvano, Alderwood (some backed, others not) and some others prove that they some are and they really are a dodgepot operation and worth following!
The annual conundrum....

Even by their standards, they have dodged some army into position for this year.
Tap Night, Shutthefrontdoor, Pendra, Alavain, Regal Encore to name just some.
Frighteningly well handicapped, or frighteningly over bet without the necessary ability?
My heid is burst!

A lot of the choices on here seem to be pretty high in the handicap already, and not looking that much of a plot.

Where are the selections who are well in over fences c/w hurdles rating or vice versa? - and who look like they are specifically targeted at something, and based on ratings proof.

Fingal Bay - Pertemps

i was looking more at horses that had ran well there last year and that have done nothing since deepingfox, vulcanite has ran over hurdles the last 3 times since being fancied earlier on in the season against johns spirit

Holywell in the 3rd race of tues. Perfect profile and should get an OR under 143, which is needed for this race and significantly below is hurdles rating

What was Golden Chieftain doing running in the Kingwell yesterday?

First appearance since his romp over 3m + fences at last year's festival in a 2m hurdle race.
