Probably right he was poor today, am most likely pocket talking got a 20/1 ryanair ante post ticket and just topped up with the 10/1 if I get a run I'll be happy. If the real Al Ferof turns up surely he must at worst get a place.

His victory in the best supreme we have seen apart, I can not see what piece of form entitles him to have a chance in any race at the festival to be honest.

I think his optimum is 2m5f but he may have the class to win at 3m, i dont think he would truly stay in a proper gold cup, but then again i thought this about kauto star.
I just checked his price for GC, was expecting 21 ish, so 30 is very big imo. Silvio is 4.8, AF is 30, 14 lengths and his best course to come..... |

AL Ferof, First Lieutenant, Beneficcient, Dynaste, Sizing Europe and an outside chance of Cue Card Lookin a lot better than it did 2/3 weeks back imo |

yep i think so bjg,of the likely runners i dont think many of them are really exciting. And a few have questions to answer in one way or another.
Cue card is gold cup surely? Sizing Europe at his best would be awesome but thats a big if. Dynaste would make it a lot more stronger but he has had a troubled year and might not be at his best even if he turns up. Even Al ferof has to put two dissapointing efforts behind him. FL and Benefficient set the bar and are very good horses but wouldnt say they are world beaters. i shouldnt really be complaining cos they obvioulsy have this race for ones that arent good enough for gold cup or QM so quality will generally be lower. |
