Apologies if there is already a thread on here for him, but I couldn't see one.

It may have only been a Maiden Hurdle he won the last day, but he absolutely blew in and beat the runner-up by further than Western Boy had done beforehand. Now connections have stumped up the cash to supplement him for this weekend's Deloitte at Leopardstown.

I think he is a very smart, progressive horse and in what looks a far from vintage year, he could just offer some value in the Supreme. Have had a few beans on him at fancy prices so would love to see him run well this weekend.

I completely agree with all you have written Tom.  Just wondered if they would go Neptune with him? The race on Sunday is 2m2f so in between. Definitely on the radar though.

I see he's in both shockster but to my eye he looked like a real two-miler, such was his point and shoot style of racing. He's clearly pretty quick too. Not my thing to rely much on times, but it can't be a bad thing that his race was quicker than Hurricane Fly's on the same card.

I'm pretty sure Ruby said after the race that they made the running because he wouldn't settle in behind.  So I'm sure you're correct as might as well go quicker over 2 than try and hold on for 2m5f.

you boys been nibbling away at this one?? three figures at lunchtime when I was at work and unable to have a bet!!

I've been ticking away at him for a week or so Bud! Still surprised that he's a perfectly hackable price now. It doesn't always work out of course, but I love seeing an impressive performance backed up by connections quickly supplementing for a big race. Always suggests they think they know they have something very decent on their hands, and Tony Martin is a pretty shrewd judge I'd say!

Yep, all makes sense, just never know. His form with Western Boy looks pretty good, and like you say theres good vibes surrounding him.
I managed to get a slice of 60 when I got in from work, just had to put a bit more on to make up for the 3 figures that was available earlier.

Yeah I think he is a live one at this stage for sure. Also behind him the last day was one of Jessie Harrington's that has form with a host of other smart novices in Ireland and this one was beaten further by Quickpick Vic than by them.

Obviously there is a deal of guesswork with this, but the signs are there that he's got to be worth a punt! Wouldn't it be nice to have a big-priced winner in race one of the Festival...

Hes an interesting one in what seems an open year.
Definitely worth a go at the odds, and a good call imo.
And yes,it certainly would be nice!!

Had a little on Budd and we'll know on Sunday if we have a sniff.

Looking goof to see where we stand on Sunday. Am happy that The Tullow Tank and Vautour both run so this will be a real test.

Runs at Naas this afternoon.  Good chance and fair price 2/1.

BND is def the class horse of the race but price a bit skinny for me.  Good luck. We be a good start to a big week.
