could be running in the UK at the weekend, entered in a grade 2 novice hurdle over 2 miles. Interesting.

Like this one, backed him nrfb for Supreme after his run last time.
Good to see him entered up. |

I've had a few quid on for The Supreme NRFB. I've been very impressed with how he's won his races, especially with his jumping.

The Haydock race could be very informative with 3 entered by Mullins, an unbeaten horse of Hendersons, Pipe's recent big money buy from France plus several others any of which could well muscle there way into the top end of the wide open Supreme market with a good performance. Interesting to see what actualy lines up mind you

is that with BV budde?
By:
yes mate, think I actually backed him before his last race now I think about it
By:
Just checked my BV bets, and I cant find it!!
So must have done the bet without nrfb, sorry Sint. Will check my bets when I get home from work. |
By:
got 25, but its with s james, not bv, so no nrfb.

cheers budde. This horse looks immense, just wondered if he is going to be a chaser. No idea if he'll even run.

20/1 Nr free bet way to go,if wins/runs Saturday will half in price,if he blows out free bet?

Where has Union Dues been this season?
By:
Looks like this misses the Haddock gig along with WPM's other 2 entries. Skybet have made a revised book without them.

Any news on this one for The Supreme? The market on here suggests that he won't be running.
By:
Apparently mullins has now said hes running in supreme.
By:
Yup - said hes intended yest
By:
Willie could easily have a handful of runners in this and/or the Neptune.
By:
I fancy this one visually v impressive.
By:
Thanks guys, I'd guessed that WM must have said something as he shortened up everywhere yesterday.

Reminds me of Un Atout in how he was prepped for Cheltenham. Giggenstown buy chasers so I'd expect this horse to probably run well but not win. But like Un Atout we don't know how good he is as he's unbeaten. Can say that about a few Mullins horses actually.
By:
So looks like if he does go for the supreme goes there without a run since Dec 21st. Strange as he was entered in a few races over the last couple of months but took none of them up...Anyone else heard anything at all???
By:
One that got smashed up by him earlier in the season bolted up in a decent handicap yesterday. Tentative form line to say the least but still, a positive in itself. I quite like him but am pretty concerned about going to Cheltenham without a run in nearly three months, with his hurdling experience to date being so low-key.

Mullins said: "Valseur Lido, Vautour and Wicklow Brave would be three for the Supreme. "At the moment I'm looking at the Neptune for Faugheen and I'd imagine Briar Hill has the profile for the Albert Bartlett. "Sure Reef looks like he'll stay all day and would either go for the Neptune or the longer race." |

Whats happened to Arctic Fire then?
By:
thanks soyouthink. I really think he could be very useful, he's a lovely looking horse, big head, moves very well and his turn of foot is electric. All the talk is about the other Mullins horse but I think this could be the one that finishes best of the Mullins lot, He hasn't proven anything yet but If he'd of had the chance i think you'd be getting a seriously shorter price, I'm expecting this to get heavily gambled closer to the day.

By:
Not sure I imagine the likes of Arctic Fire, Upazo and Rennati might be aimed at the handicaps, the County Hurdle, the Martin Pipe and the Coral Cup.

Put down a great marker today, jumped like a pro (IMO the best novice chase performance this season). I think there is more to come from Apache Stronghold as well, and those two could easily be fighting out a finish in the JLT.
