I think there are worse shouts Howdi than Rocky Creek. I'll throw in Rubi Ball might need to be heavy but ran well in Lexus. Dynaste is very backable at 33/1 if you can forgive the King Geaorge. Looks Like trouble was pulled up in that race the season he won the Gold cup. Suppose if you like Rocky Creek then you would have to bracket with Triolo D'alene as well.

^ decent shout, imo - nothing wrong with him over and above the issue which caused him to miss the King George to the best of my knowledge, he also missed the race Al Ferof won at Ascot prior to that with a different problem so arguably he is becoming a little fragile and most of his best form is going right handed.
Ran well in the Peterborough and could well do better than last year in the Gold Cup given decent ground, not entirely convinced at this point that this year's renewal will be significantly better than last years.
I suppose there's a risk that he might be aimed at the Ryanair if connections take the view that he did n't stay last year, especially if Cue Card goes for one of the other races and the Ryanair looks winnable.
Certainly food for thought, would n't take too much imagination to see him finishing in front of three of the four who beat him home last year (discounting SDC as he is OFTS).

he does jump right sometimes but it's intermittent - did n't jump right at Exeter as I recall or at Punchestown (OK, both right handed tracks) - yes, he jumped right in last year's Gold Cup but did n't when he won the Arkle.
It's more than factored into the price and he has place prospects at least.
I'd far sooner back him at 66s than Boston Bob at 25s for example.

When he won the Arkle he didn't jump strongly out to the right like he does nowadays. He's a cracking horse, but unless they fix that, which seems very unlikely given he's been doing it for a few years now, he won't be placed. He did well to finish 4th in the Ryanair despite doing it then. He jumped badly right in last years Gold Cup which cost him any chance; he was beaten into 6th by horses that he is far better than: The Giant Bolster, Cape Tribulation.
At 66/1 you can probably take a chance that this problem will miraculously disappear I guess.

my 1st thought was that he was really overpriced so I had a look on here and he was 230 to win and 34 to place, so chucked a fiver on the win and place market
