The first big meeting of the 2013/14 season, I'm off to Cheltenham for this meeting, as its slightly quieter than the Festival meeting. Can't wait to see some quality horses.

Have a great weekend, though I do get fed up with people saying it is the start of the jumps season proper, when we have had the Old Roan, Charlie Hall and Haldon Gold Cup. There has already been more talking points in this jumps season so far than most of the Flat season which should finish 2 weeks earlier.

Always far more talking points, over the jumps than the boring flat, yes there have been a few big races, so far, but the big meetings, start tomorrow
