Loved his battling qualities when taking the Jewsons at the festival, think this horse deserves more credit than he gets. His win cried out stamina and think he can improve again for the trip tomorrow. Fancy him to upset Long Run tomorrow best time to get at Long Run aswell :)

8/1 deffo value bet tomorrow.

I backed this horse ante-post at a ridiculous price for the Arkle last year (and I still think he would have at least placed based on the race we saw) but when they stepped him up in trip to the Jewson I was all over it.  He got no credit at all for beating OW and AL before the festival because it was a strange sort of race but he showed obvious improvement in that race from when AL beat him on their previous meeting, and I will happily forgive him his run at Punchestown after quite a long season.  Personally I can't see past Long Run if he is at all fit but this fella is decent value e/w

Underated horse all last season, will be interesting to see how he gets on today, as I thought he didn't fully stay 3miles last season.

3 progressive young horses in here, I'd say Long Run has his work cut out today. Watching brief for me

I thought he stayed ok at Newbury Mac,just watched it again mate, and yes he got caught by HT near the line, but to me he weren't stopping. He was giving him 3lb that day and gets 1lb today.
No idea on the fitness of these today but I will have a small wager on him.
If he stays 3m1 ok today I think we will see him in the KG which could in turn lead to the Gold Cup.....hopefully!!

He got there, but I'm yet to be convinced it's his ideal trip, he looked better over shorter. With LR in the race it's sure to be a proper test today, it will tell us if he stays thoroughly.

Yeh,fair point,i aint convinced its his trip either, but ive seen enough to think he will be ok.
Hes entitled to strengthen and improve from his novice season though, and the way he finished off the Jewson when I imagine he was at his peak, says to me he could well make a top 3 miler.
As you say with LR around today we should find out more, although how fit will LR be 1st time out??
