McCoy is paid a retainer to ride JP McManus' horses he's not Jonjo O neills stable jockey.

By:
He should be signing Cooper up. Top young jockey, hope he doesn't lose the Our Conor ride to Mullins.

By:
if fit, danny mullins will be riding our conor in all his races this season as he is retained by the owner
its a shame for bryan because imo our conor really does look like an embryo champion hurdler |
|
By:
Of course he will lose the ride. Mullins is O Connells retainer, poor jockey but thats the owners decision.

On the subject of Cooper, Ruby Walsh was down to ride Benefficient yesterday.

Aidan Coleman

Why are we even having this discussion? McCoy isn't O'Neill's jockey, as Enoue rightly says.
There is no debate. |

By:
Correct Mr Eboue - Glossy ...but AP rides @ least 85% on Johnjo's horses when there not owned by JP ...the question should have been next JP retainer i suppose and I assume that he whoever it will be will be attached to Jackdaws just as AP is...

Hutchinson is based close by and could have a shout if Thornton continues as number one to king. i feel that they might prefer to have an irish jockey so maybe cooper or townend. aidan coleman is a decent shout too

SNA, fair enough. Hutchinson, Cooper or Coleman would all be good shouts. Not so keen on Townend. Think it would take a very good offer to prize Aiden from Venetia. They are quite a team.

My longshot when odds appear which im sure they will is Richard Johnson does ride the ODD JP horse and will surely be champion jockey which he does deserve 1 day hopefully....

whoever it is will need strong arms anchoring a few of those at the back ready for the big day

By:
McCoy will be riding for a couple more years yet.
