really like this one, even though he cost me plenty by not placing last festival....i saw barry being interviewed after great run at aintree and he seemed to think he would be much stronger/better next season ...think he will go for ryanair and at 16s there is worse value ...what u lads think

Totally agree as long as SS hopefully stays sound if not CC would proberly be fav for the Queen Mother...

I might be proved wrong but looked a non stayer to me. I can see Simonsig ggoing Ryanair and CC going champion chase to try and get the 1-2 for Hendo. Apart from SS the pool of 2 mile chasers is pretty weak and can see it getting placed for sure in the Queen Mother

Ryanair is such a strong race these days that I don't see 16/1 at this stage as very appealing even if you could be 100% sure he was being aimed at it.

^ Not saying he can't be a player in it but I'd definitely not be backing him now at less than 33/1 and even the I'd rtaher wait.
If VC are betting on it you could back him with their 'free bet if he doesn't run' offer I guess?

good points, all accepted...dont think he is a non stayer though as he only tired last 100 yards on soft side of good ground last year and connections feel much stronger this season ...good luck all

The Ryanair is also over a furlong further than The Jewson is.

Ryanair to avoid Sprinter is the probably way

Personally I think he'd be best suited to the Melling, but Sprinter will be there too Laugh

He can avoid Sprinter and still win some nice races over 2 miles this season. Sprinter can't be everywhere there are races at Kempton, Newbury and possibly the G1 at Sandown at the end of the year he can target. Also options in Ireland.

I think this horse is over rated. Don't like his jumping style for a two miler, jumps too high and isn't fast enough away to challenge for the top prizes

Agree with Simon. I know he has won two Grade 1's but you can pick holes in both of those wins. He will contest some top races but I just don't see him being good enough to win any of them.

Well the way he performed at Sandown I too would agree with Simon, although has to be said the going weren't great that day.
Hes not a horse I would be looking at for this season right now, but of course he can improve.
