no must be later coz it was still 3 days in 2001 when abandoned due to foot and mouth...
2002 was the year Valiramix died and Best Mate won his first gold cup on a thursday, 2003 same, 2004 same blimey was that it after Besty? 2004 last 3 day festival? |

no don't agree, that was Best Mate's second Gold Cup and that was on a Thursday, pretty sure the Gold Cup was on the Thursday in 2004 when he did the hat trick
