Stepping up to a 3 mile campaign for the new season. Appeared to be as good as ever last year - only Sprinter Sacre beat him.

Best trip is 2m and always will be imo. Can't' even see him staying the 3m will struggle big time.

Not a bad shout as a back to lay.

I can't ever have him winning a Gold Cup but he can win over 3m as steping stone to running in the Gold Cup. Presumably starting in the James Nicholson and then maybe the King George - Kempton should suit him perfectly. If Edredon Bleu could stay well enough to win a KG than Sizing Europe certainly can imo.

He could travel very well to 3 out in a Gold Cup and trade well into single figures.

@ around 80 for the champion chase on here is a better bet i reckon...obviously hope SS stays safe and sound and if the 3m proves beyond him then  i can SE back in the champion and will go off a single figure price and you just never know as he loves cheltenham and always runs well in what will probably end up a 6/7 runner race on the day massive price

he will be 12 years old and iirc there has only been 3 horses aged 11 or older that have won any race at the festival in about 30 odd years and only one 12 year old in there so although 80 would seem fair it really reflects that he is an extremely unlikely winner of any race come March even if SS does not show up

if SS were to go awol from the QMCC I can imagine the likes of Cue Card being switched so the race would still be very very competitive and SE would still be a very unlikely winner

soz but have to be realistic

Great price, good luck. Couldnt go through it again this season though, rollercoaster ride of trainer saying hes a 3 miler followed by 3m entries followed by redirects to a 2m because the grounds too soft again arrgggghhhhhhhhh!!!
