Had some great horses just around the time I got involved in racing.
Well chief and Our vic two of my favourites.

Must have had a good life and a big loss to the greatest sport.
That is very sad news indeed.
Some of my biggest thrills as a racing fan have come through watching his horses running, in his distinctive colours.
Well Chief, Our Vic, Cyfor Malta, Lady Cricket... the list is endless.
He came across as a very sporting owner. He always seemed to take defeat very graciously.
He will be sadly missed.
