After A.P won on the cross and Barry won the Gold Cup the first thing they wanted to talk about was their thoughts for the stricken John Thomas, Sadly when the camera was on the trainers their thoughts were only with their personal achievements. Not a thought for the men who steer the beasts they train. And lets be honest how hard is it to train a horse? Money for old rope if you ask me.

You must remember the likes of BG and AP are good friends with Mcnamara and have known him for 15 years.
Some of the trainers have probably never even spoken to him. I know thats hardly the point but I think you are being a tad unfair. |
