DAY two of the Cheltenham Festival will go ahead as planned on Wednesday after a track inspection called due to a forecast frost revealed no problems.
Temperatures hit -5C overnight but are forecast to rise to 5C by the early afternoon, leaving clerk of the course Simon Claisse satisfied his racecourse has evaded winter's icy grip for the second day in a row.
The going is reported as good to soft, soft in places with a GoingStick reading of 6.0.
