Lets have a bit of fun, banter and added excitement through our beloved Cheltenham Festival... officially the best week of the year!!

You have an imaginary £100 Cheltenham bank, how much profit can you make over the four days?

Bragging rites for the weeks winner, daily winners and the ones that find the massive priced winners, forecasts, tricasts, placepots or even Jackpot!!!

You have to place a minimum of 10 bets over the week, but you can have as many bets as you want over the four days using the following options:

1) Singles settled at Betfair SP
2) Forecasts - settled at Tote Exacta
3) Tricasts Settled at Tote Trifecta
4) Tote Placepot
5) Tote Jackpot

Everyone to keep there own tally and post successes and respective running totals.

Bets have to be logged on here, before the off, log all bets in one or do them individually through the day.

Who will win, who will go broke??????!!!!

Let the fun begin!!!

Notice to Betfair............. Fancy putting up some prizes???!!!.... Please!!!!

Hi Everyone.

I'm soooo excited about Cheltenham this year!!
The soft ground dimension should make for some gruelly battles up the hill, and some big priced winners!!!
I wonder what will be the biggest winning Betfair SP? Could it be over 100/1 or even 200/1?
When you put your bets on please feel free to tell us why you like it, or your angle.
All banter welcome!!

If I do a combo trifecta in a race does that count as one bet or however many there are in the perm?

Same with the pp jp and forecasts.

Good questions!!

Combinations are allowed, but a combination tricast is 6 points to your unit stake. Tricasts will be classed as a straight tricast unless combination/combo is specifically stated in the bet.

A minimum £10p unit stake is required to combination bets, unless you have less than 10p left in your bank, then we will allow it!!!

Oh one more thing Doubles, Trebles, Lucky 15s and Trixies are also acceptable.

The placepot and jackpot will be classed as combinations, so the perms will be attract a unit stake.

Hope that helps!

Doubles and trebles, and accas will be classed as a Multiple on Betfair. So you can get some juicy returns.

So I am not restricted to a total of £100 in bets providing I am in profit?

No, you're building your £100 bank over the four days.
I'm hoping to see some massive banks from some of the forum contributors!

If you do a £10 straight forecast in the supreme and it comes in at £100.00, you are now £1090.00 up for the rest of the meeting!!

Your whole betting strategy will change if you manage to build your pot during the week.
There will be plenty of people putting all there remaining bank on a straight forecast in the grand annual!!
