Sprinter Sacre at Evens

Tomorrow is Thursday imo.

Good point!

apologies

Their site also says they will match your first bet, I wonder if they will give you a free £20 bet if you stake £20 on SC?

That was obv meant to read SS no idea who SC is......

Announcement at 7.00 apparently what about the shop punters?

I can't imagine it will extend to shop punters, you could send in half your family and end up with hundreds on at evens.

Indeed.

if this was the case you could have 20 quid on in every shop in the land.

yeah, the tweet earlier said not available in shops.

Story now on Racing Post website

Hows your ante post portfolio looking mate?

I finish work tomorrow and then am off for 10 days.

To RF

I'm happy with my ante-post bets Mr E, certainly got some decent prices but most of the ante-post bets are pretty speculative bar MTOY in the first. How about you?

I'll have a score on SS in the morning. I usually back the Arkle winner in the QM but was going to scratch around for an alternative given the price of SS, but at eevens I'll hopefully just be buying myself a free bet for the Fred Winter or summat ;-)

I havnt had a single bet yet!

I like a few in the handicaps ( two that have been posted on here ) Captain sunshine and the driuds nephew.

I'm putting serious effort into the placepot. I've got so close the last few years to a serious payout ( went out on the last leg 2 years ago when it paid something silly like 1600 quid )

Yes I think I'll get involved in the free 20 quid. Gives me a free bet in one of the handicaps.

we could have done with it being run this week weather wise. It's been mild and dry here all week. Next week doesnt look too great.

as long as the ground is sporting and racing goes ahead, I don't care if it's cold or not

£10 per customer.

We'll be holding this for days, not hours and giving EVERYONE the chance to get up to £20 on. This could cost us millions.

We're getting #CheltenhamFever! From tomorrow we will be going EVENS SPRINTER SACRE for the Champion Chase. Our BIGGEST ever offer

This could cost us millions.

Do they think every adult in great britain will be doing this bet ffs?!

As a friend just pointed out to me, and i agree, this is quite a clever little coup for them cos 90% of people wont withdraw the £40 afterwards, they will lose it. So just think about all them extra £20s they will make during next week than if they hadn't enhanced this horses price!

Good point Seathestars, everyone might just bang it on the bumper as a get out

Just had a thought, i wonder if my local Stan James shop will be honoring their pledge to lay top price in the village on this one haha , they offer a 'best price in the village' on all sports for a long while now. So if any of the 3 companies currently in town (korals, lads, hills) are top price on oddschecker they will match it to win and each way singles bets. Doubt it, but will have to ask if the evens shows up on oddschecker lol

They also sponsor the race following the QM, The COral Cup so they may try to entice us to put the 40 on this race.

Phew! Done that! Thanks, C*r*l; my 8/11 SS is now 153/200. Every little helps.

Only seem to be allowing £10 at evens online.

Managed 20, uncle. No problem.

On now must have overheated all those tenners!

Got on no problem. If they keep it on for a few days (doubt it) I'll probably lash the mrs 20 bar and get some extra on

Whole family and friends lol! then lay off at 1/3.
