There are so many horses who didn't reach their goals; like Nick Dundee(you could hear a pin drop that day at cheltenham) Istrabaq getting robbed of winning four champion hurdles(due to foot and mouth) but the one match I would of liked to had seen was Best mate and Monsignor in the gold cup!

Yes, Best Mate, was the best jumper of a fence, I have ever seen and Monsignor, was real real class, as of course was Istabraq, who beat Monsignor, in a fantastic race at Aintree.

I would just love if people didn't use the words "of" and "have" interchangeably.

Faro Star against Istabraq on heavy. They drained the course after his bumper win and that did for him in the days before Claisse turned the taps on. Would have given the champ a proper test.

Quevaga in this years World Hurdle. There's still time for sanity to prevail, but I don't think it will. I don't have the first idea why.

I would also like to see the Champion chase restored to being a real Champion chase, by downgrading the Ryanair to grade 2. It's highly likely that the runner up in this years QM wouldn't have made the first 4 if the field wasn't divided. I said it when the race was first introduced and I'll never change my mind. You can't, by definition, have a 2m and 2.5 mile championship race at the same meeting. By trying to have both, you have neither.
