does IC not want a decent level of cut?
By:
No, won the GC on good ground.
By:
That wasn't good ground. It pissed it down for the two hours before that race and was run on soft ground.
By:
Ok, but he has won on other good ground

Proper trainer.
Just gets on with it. No blowing his own trumpet or talking in riddles. Runs his horses for his owners rather than wrapping them in cotton wool, yet still has them ready and tuned up for the festival. |
By:
It's surprising he doesnt have more high profile ( or richer if you prefer ) owners.
He's won a grand national, gold cup and his festival record is very, very good. When I go to France with a few million to spend I hope to give NTD a few to train. |

if i had horses he would definately have 1 of mine....would have liked to see Graham Wylie use him....

Love him and my brother loves him even more, and we sponsored a race a newbury for me mums 60th birthday and NTD won the race, brilliant times. I like TD's

Know a few people who have worked for him and they won't hear a word against him. Top trainer and top bloke. Great family too.
By:
Yeah, if i was an owner i'd send some to him no problem. If he owned Boston Bob it would have won the RSA.

trained rather *

One of the best - like Roger says, doesn't mess about and doesn't send out smoke signals for us to decipher. Brought up on a diet of Mrs Muck and a few logarithms meself

Also, by and large, keeps it simple re race instructions too.
Get to the front, get them popping away in a nice rhythm and hopefully they'll be fit enough to win. None of this 'f@rting about at the back, coming with a nicely timed run, avoid tired fallers / walls of backpeddaling horses / shadow jumping with other horses and try and preserve their handicap mark even if you risk losing' b0ll0cks either. |
