Interesting that on 3rd Feb 2013, Mullins told RUK that Quevaga had come in and had a bit of setback (pulled a muscle). He went on to confirm that he was pleased with her and that the setback was nothing to get worried about.

Then a week later on the 10th Feb 2013, Mullins reported on the Irish Racing website that she had a bit of cold and he was now only only "pleased enough" with her.

Yesterday in an interview with Pat Keane however, Ruby Walsh sounded a lot more confident.

Five in a row would be a phenomenal achievement. Is Golden Miller's record under threat? Nine years old you would think she is at her most vulnerable this time around.

Love her to bits, bailed me out big time on one occasion, but this time round i get a feeling she will be an unlucky loser, perhaps with Walsh doing one of his final flight exits. Hope i'm wrong, but i won't be lumping on her this year. (until 5 mins before the off and i've had 8 pints!)

Imagine the state of that race without her in it, still wish she'd been allowed to have a crack at a world hurdle though.

watch the races again she hoses in every year she cant get beat!!

I'd be all over her if they went the world hurdle route Duffy!

Might seem a very bitter thing to say but I actually hope she gets beaten this year, just because I think the decision to skip the World Hurdle is beyond pathetic. I agree that she would have a massive chance in that and I think it would be 'good for racing' to see her go for it.

Unaccompanied has yet to race on good ground over hurdles. Had great form 104 on the flat on good ground.

Has never ran over 20f but seems to stay on over 2 miles. I think this horse is a colossal price. On official ratings she has 9lb to find but i would be very surprised if the extra distance on better ground did not see her improve.

Just to add 16f flat horses should excel beyond 2 miles. I can`t see her not improving for it. Her Cheltenham form behind Zarkander is excellent. Everything points to her at the prices.

She was heavily eased at Punchestown and probably overcooked for the season. I don`t count that.

Think Mischevious Milly will serve it up to Quevega if she runs. Seriously underrated...
Report Angel Gabrial February 23, 2013 11:48 PM GMT
Considering you have only posted 9 times aa00 i gave Mischevious Milly another look.

Although inexperienced she has finished all her races off really well and the step up to 20f will be up her street. And this is my personal preference, i like Old Vic sired horses on better ground over 20f plus. She is on the up and responds gamely when asked to. She could be anything over this trip.
