Does anyone know if oscar wells is arkle bound or is he going for the jewson???
Really see him as value for the arkle, second top rated hurdler behind overturn by a few pounds..and around six times the price.
Would love to know where he is heading before steaming in on the price at present.

Trainer will probably bring it over for the Wokingham

Horse is still entered in the Arkle and Jewson but Jessie has stated that he is very unlikely to travel. Presumably his name will appear until the next forfeit stage.

looks a spring horse, wouldn't be suprised if it started showing something at home over the next few weeks and goes close in the Arkle.

Evidence please Confused. All wins in Autumn/Winter and on very soft/heavy ground

His best runs have come in defeat at Cheltenham, The Neptune where he tanked all the way to the last, IMO very unlucky loser. Also thought he ran a respectable race at Cheltenham in the Champion Hurdle. He's got stuck in the mud in all his novice chase starts this season. Would love to see him turn up on good ground in the Arkle.

Would disagree and he hasn't won, that's the point. To me his final hurdle mistake in the Neptune was typical of how he finishes his races now and even if he'd have jumped the last well, I still think he'd have been caught.

He's lived on the reputation/promise of THAT Neptune run for the last two seasons. Time to forget it. He's also won 4 or 5 times on Heavy.

Saying all that, i'd love him to turn up in the Arkle as my bets are still LIVE as it stands. Would be like getting a free-ticket to the tombola with a £3k jackpot.

Uncle, I know, one horse i've got badly wrong, I will have to recoup it elsewhere. Wink

Has there ever been such an under-achieving horse that has had so many posts about it?

As for the trainer, given the horse is a stayer in the making, like I said she's probably getting it handicapped for a crack at the Wokingham.

Completely ruined this animal IMO.
