Cannot believe the talk of rocky creek and harry topper considering the 4 miler over the RSA

defies belief that for me the best 2 novices wouldn't consider taking in the weak on paper RSA and instead are considering the amateur race

harry topper not even entered for RSA

yes I realize why because the trainers want to save them for next year but nicholls wants to look after rocky creek by running him in the english hennessy next year

yes paul really looking after the animal

I think P Stewart said on Fri Rocky is def going for the RSA after Ascot.  Be nice to think owners and trainers talk to each other!

Not sure Harry Topper quite has enough pace but even if he has, the race is very hard on novices.

Any 3 mile festival race is hard on a novice who isn't built for the race. There will be 3 mile novices out there who themselves will have problems despite not running in this particular race.

Stewart said defo RSA for Rocky Creek on Friday but then Nicholls said he was very likely to give Chelt a miss instead

Gave the RSA a miss with Silviniaco last year and will be no surprise if he does the same with Rocky. Appears to have been beneficial for him

just don't understand nicholls saying he wants to look after the horse yet thinks the answer is the english hennessy arguably the toughest handicap run all season

kim bailey an utter joke for not even entering harry topper but if he runs him in the 4 miler i will be astounded after his earlier comments...at least have a look at the declarations kim?? just seems ludicrous to me as now the race has cut up and is not looking the normal brutal race

Wud think either race at Chelts cant be worse than having him lug left going around Ascot , win or not , he wudnt be the first picking up an injury doing that.

Rocky Creek might be better on a flat track, i can understand why they wouldn't run him in the RSA - I just don't think Nicholls/Walsh regard him as an RSA horse. However i do agree about Harry Topper, in my opinion it would be absolutely brainless to not run him in the RSA.

FWIW, rocky creek is incredibly strong stats wise for the RSA and would be a typical non flashy winner

possibly the biggest myth in racing that the RSA is a brutal race
