hurricane fly is a major lay in the champion all e doesis mop up the same races every year in ireland won our champion 2 years ago granted all be it a weak one and was soundly beaten last year .come the hurly burly of a rough race an the hill to cope with mark my words he will fold like a kitten loves his own wayin 5or 6 runner races fill your boots
That may be so Atho but dont you think it's disgusting with all the horses we have over here & how many times have we seen a proper race over here in the UK. Since Nov I would say you could count them on one hand. Watch after the Fez how many trainers are tripping over themselves to run their horses - Irrespective of the opposition!!! HF entered all the top 2m graded races in Ireland, how many of our 2milers did the same this year?

Would nt back him now but most certainly would nt lay him
Grandouet - Biggest danger is showin up! But is all ok? Would nt b rushin to back him at the moment anyway Zarkander - Fly beat him last year wen (reportedly nt 100%) and would expect Grandouet to reverse form from lto personally Rock on Ruby - good winner last year but still has to prove it wasnt a fluke imo, well held on every run since (woulda been smashed by Darlan lto) Binocular - Never finished in front of him MTOY - unlikely runner Cinders/Countrywide Flame - both need to seriously bounce back to form to even b sighted
Would nt b rushin to lay him myself anyway
And as for this statement
come the hurly burly of a rough race an the hill to cope with mark my words he will fold like a kitten loves his own wayin 5or 6 runner races fill your boots
Seemed to come up the Hill fine in 2011 so thats a silly statement imo
Why is he poor value at 2/1 tho Would nt back him now but most certainly would nt lay him Grandouet - Biggest danger is showin up! But is all ok? Would nt b rushin to back him at the moment anywayZarkander - Fly beat him last year wen (reportedly nt
leading CH hope HF pulverised the novice MTOY in the CH hurdle today TM took it up 2 out on the CH 2nd fav but was unable to respond to the burst of speed from the ageing fav after the last, TM speaking by a distressed MTOY he,s run a gallant race which was one to far for him this season, NH added the way he ran in the betfair and the progession he,d made since that race it was the logical place to come, of that favourite a jubliant mullins said 2 ive a nice novice chase mapped out in early dec lets keep it real folks ktf

With soft going practically a given "the Fly" must be getting to banker material, the field is cutting up and ROR not the same horse and Zarkander nowhere near good enough and Grandouetwell anyone willing to lay "the fly" is a brve/silly guy.....but its all about opinions and in my book the OP is CRAZY !

Grandouet - Don't think he's sound to be honest, this is 2 years in a row and I don't trust horses that keep getting niggles. I'd marked him down (Rightly or wrongly) as a bridle horse in his novice days anyway. Still has good claims if getting there as has plenty of class.
Zarkander - Wasn't at his best last year and was a year too young anyway - live chance
RoR - Beat him fair and square imo - strong pace brought out the best of him & will be being trained for 1 day only again. Granted a similar pace has good chance.
Bino - Would have beat HF last year if not clouting the last. Came up the hill just as well as HF (both held up a bit too far to be honest).
MTOY - Agree unlikely runner
Cinders/Countrywide - Hard to say as both had poor runs this recently, but still relatively young/unexposed etc. On best bits of their form could easily be involved though - possibly the fly in the ointment? (no pun intended!)

Soft ground a given? Plenty time for it dry up yet mate.
Zarkandar "nowhere near good enough" - bollocks. Only 6yo , forgive him 1 fall at Aintree, and one bad run in last years CH when trainer said hadn't been himself, and his form is top class. Less than 3 lengths to make up on the ageing "banker".

yes there is plenty of time for it to dry up and they could well be watering to get good to soft as usual. There's a high pressure zone coming over the UK after tomorrow and who knows how long it will last. One week of dry weather without watering and the going will be good... the course drains so fast
anyway, I will be against the Fly but not laying him

Worthy champ 2011,and according to connections great build up to last years renewal where he went off shade odds on. Beaten into third fairly on the day, imo, yet backers were quick to query riding tactics, and of course the ground, the very same ground description of his previous victory.
The question is what entitles him to be favourite, surely it can,t be this years form?
As for question marks over his rivals, fair enough to a point, however he himself at the age of 9 must have just as many.
He has to be respected, but 2/1 value ??????????????
Good luck to his backers but to me the most underpriced horse in any of the championship races,by a long way.
